I live in Fort McMurray. You may have seen us on the news.
All 90,000 residents have been evacuated due to a fire. The city is burning.
We left yesterday. It was a horror show. Fires, smoke, burning.
We are safe, together and far from town.
I’m not sure what comes next. But I know I will be ok.

I am finding a little acceptance today.
I think sobriety provides a strong foundation. I definitely am holding on to that.
