For anyone new Belle is awesome. Because a new diet or workout plan is probably not going to get you where you want to be.

      1. I followed Belle and several blogs for almost a year before I got sober. In the end, it was the 100 day challenge that got me past my last day one. ITunes or Gumroad app! It has Belle’s “Duck Ponderings” that she just started in April. It’s not currently designed to become an ongoing podcast but could. Anyway, episode #10 is my FAVORITE!!! It’s along the same lines as this blog post.

  1. For me AA worked, adaat, once I got rid of all my preconceived ideas about it…cult, God blah, blah blah. It’s a living program, that is it helps with the emotional side of sobriety as well. And there is so much support…if you want it. And that’s the trick isn’t it, whatever method you are using, ya gotta want sobriety enough S x

  2. well thanks for sharing this 🙂 i guess i would say if one thing isn’t enough to keep us sober, then we add more things. it’s tempting to switch from 1 to 2 to 3. it’s more likely to be successful if we do 1+2+3. but wolfie hates to hear that kind of thing. SO much nicer to think that the REAL solution is over there … layering of supports. online + audios + penpal + calls + meetings + facebook + stuff … huglets from me

  3. Bahahaha! Awesome. I freaking love Belle.I am currently a penpal and sober podcast subscriber! xoxo
