  1. Ann, thank you for the heads up. I will be sure to listen during my morning run tomorrow. I listened to Kelly’s inspiring story yesterday. You ladies are my life line. Thank you all! Day 7 so still early days for me.

    1. It was really terrifying.
A whole city will have a life before and a life after. For some, the life after has been very very difficult.
      It breaks my heart.

  2. Your strength and bravery is so inspiring, Anne. Thank you for sharing. Wishing you and your community well during the long recovery and clean-up ahead. xx

  3. Hi Ann. I listened to you on my run today. Oh my, what a story! I’m just so glad you all made it out safely. As someone who lived in CA for many years, we had our share of wild fires and earthquakes. Scary stuff indeed! Many thanks to you and Jean! God bless!

  4. I listened to this last night at work. Your description of events was so intense, it must have been terrifying. You’ve been through so much recently but it sounds like you have faced it with awesome sober courage and self-knowledge. Hugs x

  5. I loved hearing your voice. You spoke with such grace about a situation I never want to experience, and you coped by knowing your self, your truth and taking action when you needed to.

I was very interested to hear your comments regarding family dynamics.

    With much respect! Claire x

  6. Was so so wonderful to hear you Anne. Such an inspiration. A real inspiration! I think I’ve mentioned that before, so I’ll leave it at that! xx

    1. Thank you.
I hope you listen to the old one too. I think it becomes evident that I have come a long way…and while it’s been hard sometimes, it’s always worth it.

  7. Um, hello over there! The bubble hour and Unpickled were my first two experiences with sobriety being a thing people did and liked. It was those pod casts that I listened to on my way into work while feeling helpless. I feel like I know a celebrity now 🙂

    1. Jean (Unpickled) was one of the first buggers I found.
It amazed me too that another smart, educated, together woman has also struggled with alcohol.

Of course, there are so many of us. Nice and real people! It’s amazing. This sober blog world is a gift! I’m glad I found you!

      Anne
