Today is Thanksgiving for us here in Canada.
I am thankful for so many things in my life. And I want to thank all of you for helping me make sense of this amazing, wonderful, scary, exhilarating and sometimes even funny journey of life.
I had an excellent weekend that included a trip to see Madonna in concert and a meet up with an online friend who turned out to be a fast real life friend.
That meet up was definitely the highlight of the weekend. Madonna wasn’t at all what I expected…I wanted 80s pop and she provided quasi religious, cult based simulated sex. It was interesting and a visual spectacle. But not fun, which is what I had hoped for.
It was what it was. Another experience to consider!
I’m excited for whatever comes next. Eyes open and moving forward!
Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you all!
Stillness and peace
Anne

Happy Thanksgiving. I prefer Madonna’s earlier stuff too.
Happy Thanksgiving! It is my favorite holiday. But it is not here yet. Anyhow, thank you for all of your support and encouragement. You always appear by my side when I need it the most.
Oh Madonna … I’d see her anywhere in any form. π
Happy belated Thanksgiving! At the risk of sounding repetitious, I’m also thankful for your blog, and for your honest, poignant, sometimes funny insights. Thanks for sharing your journey. π
Hi Anne! It’s been awhile. I am shutting down my site. I am not logging in anymore, so I decided to just cancel it. I have been doing well, you know…learning always, figuring stuff out, crying and laughing. But, I can’t just log off and not say goodbye and not say thank you. Your words helped me. You took the time to write beautiful words to a stranger. So, thank you…from the bottom of my heart. Have courage and be kind. Bye dear, Anne!
Good luck on your journey. Just remember, be kind to yourself whenever possible.
Thank you.
I’ve been thinking of this blog post as we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving in the US, and with it I mark my one year of “sobriety” from my ED. I am thankful for the family I am surrounded by, the friends who make my life so rich, colorful, and rewarding, the gift of writing, all the wonderful fellow bloggers I’ve connected with in the last few months, and this odd, funny, remarkable, resilient body that I am getting to know. I am wishing you a wonderful end to your week and a peaceful start of the holiday season. β€οΈ
